What will I receive as part of the Men’s Hair House franchise system?

To assist with starting a salon for men under the Men’s Hair House brand and system, we will provide headquarters- or corporate-location based training, lasting for approximately five days for you and your general manager. We will also provide up to five days of on-site opening assistance. We’ll also present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your business properly on a day-to-day basis.

What type of prior experience do I need to have?

We do not require you to have specific experience in the salon industry prior to joining our program. However, we offer a range of franchise ownership options for various franchisee profiles: from single units to 3-pack multi-unit deals, to the conversion of existing barbershops and salons. Regardless of your background or experience, we’ll provide the training and tools you need to run an effective salon for men franchise. We do prefer hands-on operators, and look for people who are focused on customer care and providing quality service to their local communities.

How much will the Men’s Hair House franchise investment cost me?

You may refer to our FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) for an estimated initial investment range for start-up or conversion franchises. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

Are there other ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?

Franchisees will be required to pay royalties based on a percentage of gross sales, as well as a monthly website fee. These royalties and fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of services and product selections, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades, plus website maintenance and updates.

Are there any advertising fees?

During the first year of operations, starting in Month 4, franchisees must spend at least $1,400 per month on local marketing. During Year Two, franchisees must spend on average at least $1,200 per month. During Year Three and subsequent years, franchisees must spend on average at least $500 per month on local marketing. Franchisees may also contribute up to 2% of gross sales into the system marketing fund, though this contribution will initially be set at 1% of gross sales. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Men’s Hair House brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.

Is financing available?

We do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending resources, on a case-by-case basis.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?

The initial term of your franchise agreement is seven years, with three successor renewal options of five years each.
